Generator to keep Refrigerators going so food won't spoil...

I have a full-sized refrigerator, a 7 Cu foot chest freezer, a couple of space heaters, and a few phones to charge. What size generator will I need to keep those suckers going in the event we have a power outage? We live in an older neighborhood on a tree lined street. Power outages after storms are a concern.

space heaters
Those will eat up some juice. Probably looking at 1500-2000 watts a pop.
The rest isn't bad if the fridge and freezer are already cooled and you get to them quick.
Maybe 7,000 watts to be safe? (if by a couple you actually mean 2).
Edit: Here is a pdf Generac put out on the subject.
