Universal Vault Fire and Insurance

I haven't been able to find anything specifically on this but has anyone heard or read about insurance recoveries for the lost resources in the Universal vault fires?
Obviously the artists have no say so when they sold their catalogs or their original catalogs owner sold. And surely some kept their own low gen masters in their own collections.
It seems odd that UMG had such inadequate fire protection. Perhaps this was an insurance job.

The masters are worth way more than the insurance.
