Field portion of hunter education-needed

I posted months ago regarding going for a draw in Wyoming. I did get the draw I was after. You have to have hunter Ed, to which I did the online part quick like. But for 3-4 weeks attempting to find or even backdoor a favor to gain access to someone who can provide the outdoor part. (I’ve heard everything from “you go shoot skeet” to “we shot pellet guns at waddle”. (Small wlf place in BR)
Any other options? I was sure hoping the covid thing was settling down but this is going to make it 10X harder to now attain.

Are you going on the hunt with anyone else? Wyoming has a mentor program for people without hunter Ed. I used it for my niece up there a couple years ago. From what I remember it was as simple as printing out a form.

We had to find a scheduled hunters education course where the instructor would let us show up on the field day. Most wouldn't, we went to the one in Baker and shot at the sheriffs range.

You applied for an out of state tag and had never taken Hunters Ed?
