i've been posting a lot here lately and appreciate all the help....but I just made trade and want to know everyone's opinion...my team pre-trade:

standard 10 team league. 1 QB
QBs: Josh Allen, Garoppolo, Daniel Jones (taxi)
RBs: Chubb, Mostert, Latavius, Tarik Cohen
WRs: T. Hill, Kupp, Chark, John Brown, Hollywood Brown, Tyler Boyd, N'Keal Harry
TEs: Cook, Ebron, Jonnu Smith

My original picks were 1.04, 1.07, 1.08 and a couple of 3rd rounders. I just made a trade giving away Hollywood Brown and 1.07 for Waller, 2.01, 2.05 and a 2nd rounder in 2021. the guys who I traded 1.07 to wanted a WR when I wanted a RB so I figured giving away 1.07 or 1.08 wouldn't make a difference.

Did I make a good trade?

Hollywood Brown is literally worth more than that package by himself. You lose the trade even if you don’t give the 1.07, which you did.

I know CEH and Taylor are going 1 and 2. That means the guy that drafts at 1.03 will take either Swift, Dobbins, or Akers. Then I pick from one of the two he doesn’t take. I know the next two picks (1.05 and 1.06) are going WR. Then the guy I traded with (now picking 1.07) is taking a WR (I know this). Therefore, whichever one of those RBs is left is guaranteed to be there. So it wouldn’t have mattered if I traded him 1.07 or 1.08. Then I pick again 3 picks later when there will still be plenty of really good WRs available

You better hope the WR you draft is better than Hollywood. Not sure why you had to give up a first and Hollywood in this trade. Sorry bud, but you lost this one jmo

In a 1QB league, you might be getting the 6th best RB at 1.08

Big mistake

You consider Swift, Dobbins, or Akers the 6th best RB? Because I’m getting 2 of those guys.

Congrats on your terrible trade

He even fleeced you enough to where you gave up pick 7 instead of 8

I think he is saying that at 1.08 you may draft the 6th RB. I know you say that that you know who people are taking for sure. But in both of the dynasty leagues im in if 5 different people asked me who i was taking at 1.02 i would answer 8 different ways. No way im being honest with that shite.

But back to your trade. No way i would have done that. You just gave up a SUPER explosive receiver who is catching passes from last years MVP. I own Hollywood in both my dynasties. He aint going no where.

It’s not a fleece. I’d say the other team came away slightly ahead and you’re addressing your weak links on the roster.

You should still be able to get a solid WR at 2.1. Hopefully you’re right about the running backs falling to you.

I’m also not buying high on Waller. Not sure if you noticed but LV invested a lot in this draft so they don’t have to force him 22% of the total targets and a team leading 117 targets.

If you do a regression analysis using LV’s target % to Jared Cook when they had Cooper for 6 games and the ghost of Jordy Nelson, Waller could fall from TE #4 in a std league to TE #8. We’re still talking 850-925 yards at TE, but I wouldn’t pay to be on the losing side for 90/1,145.
