The fact that the seniors from last season had to start their LSU career with the craziness of the Les Miles debacle. I know much was said about LSU's redemption since the '17 Troy game, but for the players themselves to go through that AND the 2016 shenanigans is kinda crazy.

I don't recall any interviews of seniors talking about the program's upswing since 2016 from their perspectives. I know most talk about that time centers around CLM and O.

the Les Miles debacle.

Hopefully we always have a debacle that wins close to 80% of their games and a NC.

I think he was more referring to thinking their coach was safe due to a last second TD then knowing he's gone the second that play was overturned. Then riding out the rest of the season with O thinking he had coached his last game against A&M while having Tom Herman announced as coach during the game and not happening and finally O getting the job. That whole thing was a shitshow

The weird resentment from many on here towards Miles is so strange. He was flawed and stubborn but won a NC, ran a clean program, and even hired O who became the eventual savior. We just had tGOAT season, let the little stuff in the past go.
