I will be leaving GCNP around noon in March. I am looking for a good place for lunch in Flagstaff to eat with kids. We probably need something quick and not fancy because we have to be in Scottsdale later on in the afternoon. Maybe even a good sandwich shop or something.

Thanks is advance

Proper Meats has great sandwiches. We ate there this past summer when we went through Flagstaff. Lumberyard Brewing was also highly recommended.

Yep.

Proper Meats and Provisions has killer sandwiches. The parking can be a pain because it's right on 66 now rather than south of the tracks (the parking wasn't easy then either). Diablo burger does really good burgers if you're in the mood for that, and then you could finish with a coffee and desert from Macy's - a really good European coffee shop with killer pastries. Pizzacelta does incredible wood-fired pizzas and is worth the long wait, but I think they're only open for dinner. We usually hit up Hops on Birch for beer because they have a wide selection of taps, and you can bring your dog in the bar!
