Where does Kelly Marie Tran's performance of Rose Tilco rank?

Just because it is on the Internet, does not mean it has value.

2. Joaquin Phoenix – The Master

After watching The Master I thought this was the most convincing performance I've ever seen. That one on one interview scene with PSH was incredible.

7. Kristen Stewart - New Moon

The range was incredible. I'm on team unpursed lips.

Whatever is she thinking? Or is she wondering? Ahh, great actors you can never tell.

It's a pretty popular site that's been around a several years. Surely you've seen all those performances and can come up with a better ranking to make a comment like that. Seems like YOU are the pretentious one, not this list.

Joaquin in The Master is the pinnacle of acting. Proof positive that the Academy is a social good ole boy organization.

The two people who watched this film agree

I say this as a PTA and DDL fan. Sometimes you get too much whiff of your own a-hole and think it smells nice

Probably true, but I don’t see DDL as one of the good ole boy types, which is who Phoenix lost to

Can we call the Academy a stupid, socially-conscious popularity contest if we also call the popular movies they give 6 nominations to unseen?

I think your "2 people comment" would make much more sense about Tilda in A Bigger Splash at #3, but you didn't see it.

I'll rephrase. Phantom Thread was nominated for 6 academy awards. Many people have seen Phantom Thread. Based on its box office numbers, a significantly larger number of people in America have seen Phantom Thread than have seen The Master.
