I was 13, faded memory, but wasn't there a questionable pass interference call against LSU on ND's FG drive??

Went to the game with five other guys from my floor in Kirby Smith. We drove there in one of the guys mother’s Buick Electra. My first time in a car with cruise control. We got a ticket at 0200 in St. Marys Missouri. The police station reminded me of Andy of Mayberry. Ticket was $35.00. Lot of cash back then. Great game. ND field goal was set up by a bad interference call on Richard Picou. Gave them a first down. We held and they punted out of bounds on the one yard line. We couldn’t move the ball and punted. They got the ball in our territory and kicked the winning field goal.

Watched that game on closed circuit TV in the assembly Center. How times have changed!

No you didn’t. No watched it with me and everyone else in the Gym Armory.

The AC wasn’t opened until 1972.

It was a great crowd too. The refs hosed us on a bad PI call. It should have ended in a 0-0 tie.
Great D.
