I am looking for advice. I have some money that I’d like to invest. I have liquidity needs every May.
I have some, but not a lot of tolerance for risk. Thoughts, comments, questions.

This is extremely vague.
What liquidity needs in May? Are you saying you have cash you will need in May?

Every May I pay tuition. I will need to use this pool of money to pay for that.

Depending on how much longer you’re going to be paying tuition, sounds like your best bet is a “high yield” savings account or money market fund. I agree that your risk tolerance should be low, since you can’t afford to lose money that you’re going to use to pay for school. School is more important than chasing yield.
Good luck.
Good luck.
