Broken HDMI port - PS4 Pro

Well, the shite quality HDMI port broke on my pro.
Has anyone had this repaired by a third party?
Worst case, I'll just pay Sony the $140 and wait on it. I'm hesitant only because the rep told me the service department can just send me a refurbished console instead of fixing mine. I really don't want to lose the data on my hard drive.

You could fix it yourself for less than $20

I wish I could solder. I found plenty of docs and tutorials on how to do it.

It's easy. Find some scrap, make a few practice runs and do it yourself
