As much as I hate what this show has become, I will tune in for Sandler for a small Taste of the great old days of SNL from my childhoood.
Sandler just did the Chris Farley song from his special at the end of the show. Very, very good.
Apparently Chris rock, Jimmy fallen, and Kristin Wiig all made cameos.

The song was real nice.
The buttplug ad was good.
Leslie Jones was a pretty good Chubbs.

The 7-11 joke at the bar killed me

For me, it really came together with Opera Man and the Farley tribute.
I'm not gonna lie, I started to ball my eyes out when he sang. I don't know if it was more of the fact that i was reminded of my childhood and a simpler time, the fact that we lost the Belushi of our generation, or that fact that Holy shite where the hell did the last 24 years go?
Either way, I needed that and I'm so happy that I watched it.

They're even ignored politics in the cold open and instead had an Avengers vs Game of Thrones celebrity family feud.

I’m glad you started this thread.
That tribute to Farley was an instant classic.

It’s an old song he’s been doing for a while. It’s on his Netflix special and done way better there. Obviously, doing it at SNL has some importance

That tribute chokes me up every time. Even Adam stared to get choked up towards the end. A very fitting song for a great episode!
