Iphone/Exchange/Outlook Contact Help

So I used to have a normal exchange account set up on my iphone, with all my contacts synced. We switched to office 365 a while back and at that point on, I just used the outlook app for this particular email. This way I could keep them separated from others. I had left my old exchange account on the phone, but it was not actively receiving emails.

Recently I started getting the pop up about not being able to sync email to the dead exchange account, so I removed it from the list. Now all my contacts are not populating on my iphone directory.

Can I add my outlook app contacts to my iphone's without adding that particular email address to my iphone email app?
