How’s the venue for concerts, specifically the lawn seating. Can you bring your own bag chair or is it best to just pay extra for the one you can rent from them.

We usually take a blanket and sit on that but you can take a low profile lawn chair in as well as water and food in a soft cooler and backpack size bags. As for the venue, the sound is crappy and I honestly don't go to many shows there. I saw Willie Nelson last year just because I had never seen Willie.
FYI: Most Dallas people still call it the Starplex. It changes names now every couple of years based on the sponsor so I had to look up what Dos Equis pavillion was.
