If I am posting this in the wrong forum, I apologize and please feel free to move it. With that said I was hoping someone could help.

I am coming to New Orleans for a buddies bachelor party the weekend of Bama/LSU. The group I am coming with are mainly Penn State grads, who happen to be playing Michigan that weekend. The groom is interested in renting out a bar for the Michigan/PSU game and was looking for suggestions.

Does anyone know of any good bars where we could rent a part of the bar for the game? I have been to the Rusy Nail before, but outside of that I am not too familiar with a place of this scenario. It would be a group of 10-13 sub 30 year old guys. I know it is going to be tough with Bama/LSU that weekend, and I am really hoping they do not play at the same time, but I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks in advance guys, and lets beat Auburn this week!

I am actually impressed that I failed to spell it right multiple times.

Mid-City yacht club in New Orleans is a Big 10 headquarters for OSU and Penn State fans. You might want to call them about the PSU/Mich game. They may know how to get in touch with other local Penn State fans.

Another possibility is to just find a Buffalo Wild Wings.

I suspect you could get it on a TV at Mannings too... but if its opposite LSU / Bama you won't have sound unless you can find that Big 10 friendly bar and they are playing it.

Best of luck.

I’m telling you, I left BBG because it was too packed, last year and ended up at MCYC. They wouldn’t switch the TVs until the OSU game was over, and only then had the LSU game on the smallest tv and audio on the PSU game. I was pissed, but I learned that night.

Here’s a few things I found on google that might help you out, in case you wanted to watch it with some other fans, and maybe some chicks, instead of a private room full of sausage.
It may be hard to find an entire bar to rent out in general, especially during the LSU/Bama game. Good luck

Rendan Inn is a Big 10 hangout. Check it out. Safe area of town too.
