Would the media basically not report on it? And if so would these be “private texts” where they were just joking not serious right!

Of course they would report on it and to be fair all of the Fake News Media has reported on the texts between Lisa and Peter. Not to the degree they would if they had been sent by Trump supporters but they have reported on it...
