Makes me want to hate a band I love. frick him in his bald arse. Worst thing to happen to The Beach Boys. No talent having mother fricker.

I think this a bit extreme. Yeah- he is responsible for the "Kokomo" era Beach Boys and basically reducing the band's name to the casino circuit in 80s and 90s. However he did contribute lyrics and some damn good vocals on what happens to be one of the greatest musical accomplishments ever in "Good Vibrations" so I can cut him some slack.
Regardless, this topic made me spin Pet Sounds as it had been a while (read: weeks). Thanks.

I love the comment that the Beach Boys were a complete body... Brian was the brian, Dennis the heart, Carl and Al are the arms and legs and Mike Love is the a-hole.

I had a daughter working a specialized air terminal some years back when the Beach Boys came to Marksville by way of Alexandria. Mike Love was a total jerk towards her because the limo had not been driven up to the steps of the plane. If I would have been there in person, I would have kicked his wrinkled arse for mistreating my daughter. Needless to say, I have no interest in spending a dime on them ...... or what's left of them. Love is an idiot whose brain never got out of high school.
