pick my movie - moonrise kingdom or avengers civil war

night at home without the wife and kids. grilling a steak and watching a movie.
i think i'd like either. might would lean toward moonrise if it is more grand budapest/rushmore than life aquatic. i don't want slow and plodding wes anderson.

Both are great and you can't go wrong, but Moonrise you can watch with your wife. Civil War... Probably not. Plus, Moonrise is not a steak night movie.

Chose civil war. Christ almighty this is a long movie. Headed to bed with 45 minutes left. It’s good but frick me it’s long.
ETA: steak was money. Rib-eye with sea salt and Paul prudhommes blackened steak magic basted in garlic rosemary butter after.

For your future reference, Moonrise Kingdom is a lot more like Rushmore and GBH than Life Aquatic.
(ETA: I think it's his best movie to date, although Rushmore is close.)
