AQ

I originally mentioned them when I bought in at $12 0n 1/29. They hit an all time high today of $17.32. Their IPO was 11/3/17 so their ATH being only $17.32 isn't alarming.

quote:

Aquantia Corp is engaged in developing and supplying connectivity solutions for data centers, enterprise and wireless local area network (WLAN) applications. The Company offers 10 gigabyte Ethernet and Multi-Gig Ethernet Silicon product for data center and cloud, and the enterprise and WLAN markets. For data center and cloud market, it offers 10GBASE-T PHYs product line, which includes 28 nanometer technology products, such as AQ2402, AQ2403, AQ2203 and AQ2104; 40 nanometer technology products, such as AQ1402, AQ1202 and AQ1103, and 90 nanometer technology product, AQ1002. For enterprise and WLAN market, it offers AQrate product line, including 28 nanometer technology products, such as AQR405, AQR205 and AQR105. Its AQrate product line consists of single, dual and quad-port configurations for applications ranging from client personal computers and others for single and dual-port devices, to Enterprise and Campus Ethernet switches for the quad-port versions.

They have recently announced a partnership with Nvidia in autonomous vehicle tech and today news came out that Cisco took a new position in AQ.

quote:

During 4Q17, Cisco Systems (CSCO) opened a new position in semiconductor company Aquantia (AQ). CSCO bought 672,776 shares in Aquantia, representing 1.0% of its portfolio.

Aquantia manufactures high-speed integrated circuits, and it counts Cisco Systems among its largest customers. Aquantia went public in November 2017. While filing for its IPO (initial public offering), Aquantia disclosed that Cisco Systems and Intel (INTC) are two of its largest customers, accounting for more than 90% of its revenues in 2016.

Sidenote: Please do not buy into them YoungManOldMan so we do not have to hear you complain when you have unrealized losses of $5. Thanks!

Stout. I started out with an investment of $2500 of play around money. I am now at 4200.

I have had a run of good fortune the last few days, including today with Express Scripts buyout (and selling at +11) and the tripling of Jaguar Health this morning.

Glad for you but that doesn't null the griping we have had to endure from you on KEM, AUPH, etc

You seem to be looking for home runs and not long term so that's why maybe you need to stay out of AQ too.

I was. I needed to experience the thrill of a profit. I'll keep whatever griping off the board.

I missed out on that one along with several others that I either held and sold early (PGNX ) or wanted to buy and went back ok my gut (TWLO and MU )

Btw. KEM is forming a nice consolidation wedge. A breakout may be happening soon.
