Spent time in Siem Reap and it truly is a great place. People are amazing. Sad that you basically don't see anyone over about 45. They all were murdered.

The hostels are incredible in Phnom Penh, and I've heard Siem Reap is full of partying especially Pub Street. I stayed at Mad Monkey for 2 nights in PP and there was free beer both nights at the sunset bar next door to my dorm.
