My new favorite wine. It's aged in whiskey barrels and is 17.5% alcohol. A restaurant bar recommend it and it's been my favorite ever since. It's only $20 at super one and $24 at rouses. Anyone tried it?

I have.

It's a big jammy red. I thought it was good by itself, but not with a steak

If I’m drinking I am not eating. Eating will only slow me down

Yeah it doesn’t pair well with food but it’s a fun option to drink solo. It’s perfect for the frequent bourbon and occasional wine drinkers.

Absolutely love the stuff. I recommend it to anyone who likes big bold reds.
