Speed test shows PING 32 ms DOWNLOAD 62.56 Mbps
UPLOAD 5.55 Mbps
Ooma says its the ping? Should be less than 5ms. Cox tells me everything is fine. Reset everything on my network and still having delay issues on calls. Any suggestions?

Can you do a ping test from the Ooma user interface?

Ooma is full of shite. A less then 5ms ping to the web is almost unheard of.
I had Ooma for years and used it with a 60-80ms ping without issue.

That's what I thought. Don't know what the issue is but I thought that response was a bunch of crap.
I'm trying to figure out the QOS on my router to see if that helps. Never had problems for the last 2-3 years but just started a few days ago. No other problems with my network or internet.

I hope the idiot support agent meant less than 5ms jitter. You probably wouldn't get 5ms pinging a Cox host.
Your problem could be a down line carrier. Download ping plotter and it will give you the response times at each hop. If you can see that the ping times shoot up where Cox hands off to another carrier, you can have Cox look at that specific hand off. Anything beyond that, not much you'll be able to do unless the problem is on the ooma network.

Got bumped up a few levels based on my complaints to others. Last CSR was an American and helped me figure out that the Ooma box was F'ed up. Home port is fried because it is not working. Surge probably got the box. Paid $39 to "extend the warranty" and get another box.
I was going to look around for other providers but this is my first issue with Ooma in 4 years and I'm not interested in porting numbers again. Second CSR said the ping"issue" was nothing
