Every time I go Into Costco I think about buying this item, anyone have any experience with one and does it work good or waste of money trying to keep down mosquitos in South Louisiana?? TIA...

I got one, but only for about a month. It hasnt gotten bad yet so I can't really tell you if it helps.

I can tell you the little trap that you empty has been full a couple times. Which I guess means it is working.

I had one and it didn't work well. Just buy a spray with permethrin and spray your yard down every 2-3 weeks.

That's what I do.

We have NO mosquito problems where we spray, carport included. You can literally tell where I stop spraying when walking to barn. Skeeters get on you.

Does it work on the house? Mosquitoes hang out around the front door and the walkway is stucco. I can't keep those suckers away and they end up in the house every time the door opens

yep, pretty much any permetherin will work in that situation...lasts a long time in there where the rain won't get to it, too.
