They made a lot of regionals and few supers. Not sure that qualifies them as "fantastic" but they were doing alright for themselves.

I agree that ASU is the best baseball producing talent the last 30 years...great weather, great baseball environment for kids...Cali and Arizona kids play baseball non-stop all year round.
All-time...it's probably USC (but I don't know)
Long Beach...was a tremendous program in the 80's and 90's...it's a shame they have fallen off.
And of course, Stanford always gets the top talent in all the sports besides football and basketball...still good talent but no where near the talent they get in the other sports...because, hey, everyone wants to go to Stanford. They are easily the #1 sports school in America the last 30 years.
