I made two of the three days of the first weekend.
Highlight: Atoms For Peace
Also really enjoyed HAIM, they covered "Oh Well" which is a rare old Fleetwood Mac song. I had never heard anyone cover, my favorite FM song. It was a Peter Green song before Stevie was even in the band, and they did a great job. Then shortly after that Delta Rae covered the Chain. Not sure why it was Fleetwood Mac day.
Kendrick Lamar, TAME IMPALA & Shuggie Otis were all really good, Lionel was fun.
Silversun Pickups, Shinyibs, Grouplove, Electric Guest was also pretty good.

I really only saw mostly big bands and we didn't go out early in the day
Highlight of the trip: Being 3 rows from the front at Kings of Leon when it started pouring raining and they came out and did a 3 song encore. Totally amazing.
Best band had to be Muse though IMO. That dude straight up sold his fricking soul to the devil to do what he does with that guitar. My mind was completely blown.
I also really enjoyed Arctic Monkeys. I found they were a bit heavy on the new album but that's ok because I like that one.
Vampire Weekend and Passion Pit were both enjoyable as well.
Depeche Mode...well we only stuck around for a couple of songs because we wanted to get a decent spot for Muse.
Sucks that the 3rd day rained out but we had a blast and can't wait to go again next year.

They might be the best act I've ever seen live. Every song just sounds so fricking epic. They would be a great band for a USO show IMO

I was already dreading the inevitable outcome of my night based on the rain- I sat in my trailer for that bit. Little did I know that was only the beginning of a 72 hour nightmare trying to do load out
we still have so much work to do, it's unthinkable

We thought it was just going to rain for a few minutes. Had no idea what was to follow. I know it's got to be a huge undertaking to get everything back to normal.
I will say that the festival was very well organized and you guys definitely know how to throw a party. Very impressed and will be going every year so long as I'm in reasonable driving distance.
