You're giving Les an out. We have sucked on offense for 8 years because people keep giving Les an out, it's cost us multiple national championships

Watkins was not Clemson's top WR last year. He was basically going through a sophomore slump almost the whole year. Hopkins was easily the best WR on the team last year.

Watkins had been injured most of the season. He was fully healthy for the first time in the bowl game, and was 100% going to be the feature-point of the offense against LSU, as seen by him getting the ball on the first play. Morris has admitted it multiple times.

Yea, both of those scenarios involved a bigger team that was disappointed to be there along with a smaller/less talented program that was ecstatic to be there.

Boise State/Georgia was the Chick-Fil-A kickoff game week 1...

This means that TCU doesn't play against good rushing teams

I was doing research on TCU's run defense
Not as good as SEC run defenses.

See Les' record over the past 5 years.

Not sure if I am confident enough in LSU passing game to win the game if needed
One first down, or stop in the 4Q and it was good enough to beat Bama last year.

especially in Game 1 with a new scheme.
Valid point.

have wished to see Tigers have a balanced offense for couple of years now. Would be so great establish the run then burn them with the pass when they stack the line to prevent the run. Want to see pass to tight end Smith break their backs.
Hope i am not disappointed again this year, seems like month before season starts i a overly optimistic only to return to reality when season starts. Offense got to jell this year if we going to be able to compete with the strength of schedule we are stuck with.

And none of them have done much in the NFL. Though they were great in college and they definitely didn't have the best run defense in the nation. Not even top 10.

Nice observation. They forgot about 2011 Alabama and LSU's elite defenses. I wouldn't be surprised if 2011 Georgia and South Carolina's rushing defenses were better too.

Also remember that the coaching staff plays a lot of different players on both sides of the ball. I doubt TCU has the number of quality backups to match the LSU depth. This is one of Miles's strong points.
