Manchester City had a 5 point cushion on Manchester United.

Didn't City then go down by a total of 8 only to have United shite the bed in the last few weeks (losing to the likes of Wigan)? Don't remember. But, last year they didn't have Robin van Persie either.

Yes and Blackburn/tying Wigan.

I agree, but United wasn't in UCL either. I'm just pointing out that there is hope. Slim as it is.
