College football is great

In one weekend the entire puzzle gets reworked, it seems like this happens every year and I like. It makes us fans for teams that we would never pull for, i.e. USCw, Florida State, Auburn and from time to time even Alabama! I think it would be awesome to have that 8 team playoff somewhere down the road, but for now I am just enjoying the ride and holding on to faint NC hopes.

Wait, you make a thread to talking about how great the significance of this past weekend was, and also express a hope that they change the system to make sure it never happens again in the same post?

BCS is so totally F'd up, I love the chaos.
Instead of figuring out bizarre scenarios, I just sit back and laugh at this stupid system. A four team play off will be nearly as F'd.

I agree with that, but it is a hell of a lot better than what used to be in place.
Chaos is part of the fun right now and a 4 team playoff will be just as crazy (if not more so).
Sooner or later it will morph into a true playoff.
College football was always and will continue to be very exciting!
