If you like the Need For Speed type racing games you may want to try this game demo. I haven't tried it yet, the Forza franchise is one of the best racing franchises out there and I'm sure this will be just as good.

Downloaded this last night and wasn't totally impressed with it.

Living in Colorado, I was hoping for a bit more from the scenery. It seems like it is always sunset turning into night.

Graphically, it feels more like an XBOX Original as opposed to a modern-gen racing game. What works for Forza was their incredible details and perfected physics and simulator driving. This game has neither.

Most of the driving is done on two lane roads with minimal passing room and civilian traffic. I am pretty sure they also have 3 civilian model vehicles. Apparently everyone in Colorado drives a Chevy Tahoe or Suburban. In fact, most people drive Subarus, CR-Vs, or Jeeps.

I was really excited for this game, but will most definitely be passing on purchasing this one.

Really feels more like a Burnout style arcade game with out-dated graphics than the franchise Forza has become.

That's disappointing. I bought my 360 solely for Forza3 and LOVE forza4. I was hoping this game would be as awesome.

Forza nut, so obviously I've been following this for a while.

Main thing to remember is that it is not, nor was it ever meant to be, the next Forza Motorsport game (a shite ton of people don't get that). It's an open-road, more arcade-ish Forza spin-off. It runs on the same basic driving-physics engine as FM4, only it's been softened up some (iow, more forgiving) to make it more accessible to newcomers (improved turn-in response, more grip all around, collisions are waaayyy too forgiving).

But Forza dialed back to 85% is still light years better than Need for Speed, or Burnout, or TDU. Will easily be the best open-road style hoon-fest on the market.

By open road, I was hoping to take my 4WD straight up the side of Pike's Peak. You can't really leave the road or really explore anything.

Might throw this one on my birthday wish list, but I can't drop $60 for it.

It's definitely not "hard core sim" like a lot of people feel Forza franchise is. Something to remember is that it is actually developed by the team that did Dirt series, and while it is a T10 property, T10 did little for the development.

I'm about as hard core a forza fan as the next and while i'm not totally enthused about the demo, I realize it is just that...a demo. Forza demo's were always a little sneak peak under the tent so to speak and the finished product was always light years above. I've already pre-ordered but like I said, Forza is what I play pretty much 85% of the time, so it will be a good break away from hotlapping and running circuit races every night.
