Headed to St. Louis for a business trip. What's good downtown around the Arch?

Take the 15 min trip to Fast Eddie's in Alton, IL. Well worth it. If not, any of the Italian Rests in The Hill. Can't go wrong.

Is Fast Eddie's the one right over the bridge that has the big deck outside? Good burgers and stuff if I remember correctly. Cash only too I think.
Plus 1 for the Hill, good food everytime. The Irish bar / rest buy that Station downtown use to be good too, can't remember the name. Always had good corn beef and cabbage.

It's not downtown but it's worth the drive. Great food and excellent booty.

Pappy's Smoke House
City Museum
Also, suggest checking out Soulard which is 5 minute cab ride and to check out this place:

A must for live music:
BB's Jazz, Blues, and Soups
Then right next to BB's is this place:
Broadway Oyste Bar
Also a Casino:

yeah, that's the place, but it isn't really worth the drive.
For a burger go to Seamus McDaniel's in Dogtown. Seamus
For pizza go to Pi. Pi They have a few locations, each with slightly different menus. I went to the one in the Central West End. It's Chicago style deep dish, such good Chicago style pizza that apparently it's better than any place in Chicago, at least according to the President, who gets pizza delivered from there.
