I've endured bad teams in all of our sports through the years, and been pretty pissed off at them sometimes...this situation though, is just flat out embarrassing...for LSU to not even have a hope of being competetive with others in the SEC is pretty unbelieveable....

Next year will go a long way toward determining if Trent will get it done. We must see some big improvement next year. I'm patient but next year is year four.

I like TJ and thought we got a good coach. But, I'm really questioning that right now. This team is really bad. Last years team was really bad. BBall isn't football. Freshman should be able to contribute better than ours have.
I understand Turner is hurt as is Warren. We'd be getting blown out with both of them.
We have no defense and can't shoot. How will that get better next year. Only way I see a turn around would be if Obryant, Hamilton, and Issac are lights out.
Seriously, I think that throw together team that Brady put together the first year may have been better. And that's saying something.

Who's out there right now that LSU could get that would be an homerun hire?
TJ was a good hire for LSU. We had a lot of talent his first year from Brady with nothing really in the cupboard. Couple that with the lack of talent in LA for the first couple of years, you are spelling rebuilding mode.
TJ's upcominng class with O'bryant and Issac will contribute. I think the telling factor will be if TJ is able to land the talent that is back in the state for the next class after that (Ricardo Gathers).
TJ is going to get all 5 years of his contract.

This is very difficult to stomach. All I can say is that this year's team is an embarrasment. I would not sign these players for an NAIA college team. WE are fricked at this point. Forget this season..it is over and done with. Coach Johnson will get his 5 years. If we are still an embarrasment in two years, his arse will be gone...long gone and he wil be someone else's coach. Too tired to fricking care anymore.

We have to hope Turner, Derenbecker, etc. get better ( I think they will ) and hope Johnny O and the transfers can ball. We are serously outmanned... pure and simple.

it will pay off if LSU is patient.
Patience is not a virtue in Tigerland.

I really do think Trent Johnson can turn LSU basketball around into a strong program like it was with Dale Brown in the 80s
NCAA Bball is different then it was in the 80s
people always wanna look back to the dale brown days...
dale brown would be in the same stuff TJ is in with this program
its a rough stretch but you have got to give it time. i believe TJ is doing it right because he is recruiting guys who are going to stick around for a few years and not a bunch of 1 and dones (who wouldnt find lsu appealing right now anyway)
he is going to make it work we just have to be patient. i dont think we are giving him a pass, more like we are giving him a chance
