Vanguard 2045 Fund

Any thoughts on this as a primary/lone investment? My wife is going to a company without a retirement plan so we have to do it ourselves.
Planning on maxxing out Roth and rolling over her existing 403b into the account as well since our income will be much higher next year. Also, the Bush tax breaks are going away next year.
Any recommendations on other investments or is that a solid plan? I like Vanguard because fees are lower, but do not have a lot of experience with investments.
