Just started this non-fiction tome by the author of the Liberation Trilogy. It's volume one of a trilogy of books centered around the military history of the American Revolution. I'm only 30 pages in but I'm hooked and highly recommend it.

Thank you for the reference 87 and I’d like to recommend the best non fiction book I’ve ever read about the Revolutionary War.
“1776” by David McCullough is a great read and it gives you a great perspective from the British point of view as well. McCullough shows the debates in the House Of Commons and the House Of Lords and the personal writings of King George 3rd. It’s a great, informative read.

I read his Liberation Trilogy but didn’t know this book was out. I’m a few years too late to the party, but I’m excited to start this one. I found it at Ollie’s for $5.

Read it last year and check every couple of months for release of the second volume. Great book.

I thought his book “Crusade” about the first Gulf war was very good also
