I can’t easily copy and paste google url from google app anymore on iPhone

Until a recent software update if I was in google if I wanted to copy the url address all I had to do was lightly tap anywhere in the addresss and it would ask me if I want to copy .

Now it just highlights and the copy pop up on the phone app no longer appears . Then when I tap it again it either unselects everything or just highlights a small section where I touched .
The only way I see to copy paste from google app now is after the first click I click again it will highlight the small section then it lets me slide the 2 sliders , one of the all the way to the right and the other all the way to the left then it finally ask me if I would like to copy
Is there anyway to get it back to the way it was ?
