Need some help. I have a Johnson 150 on a boat I bought. There is no nameplate on the motor. How else can I identify the model number?

honestly there is no way to get parts for it even if you did have a model number tag on it
its a 150 and you already know this. what else do you think you need? any parts still available will be listed as johnson 150 parts and the similar model numbers all use the same parts so if you need impeller just look on ebay for johnson 150 impeller and there you go. you dont need every letter of the model number to look up the parts so dont overthink it.
personally, if it runs then run it until it blows up on you, if you need to fix it then i wouldnt spend much money on it at all, if it costs more the $50 to get running, sell it for scrap aluminum
EDIT - FYI its easy to guess the letters in your model number since they are common tags used just to identify if its long or short shaft, power trim or not, and if its manual or electric start. and any similarly setup motor, will have the same letters after the engine size as the model number

What year is it? Do you have a picture? 2/4 stroke? Carb or FI?

It’s a 1995. 2 stroke. Carb
Don’t know how to upload a pic on here.
It says V6 on it if that helps

Find the serial number or code number. It will be found on the nameplate located on the outboard itself, on the mounting bracket or on the silver core plug on top of the power head. Remove the cowling by lifting the release levers found on each side or front and rear of the outboard to find the core plug.
