But so is our heritage of OG Greek restaurateurs who have little to do with BR's "Greek and Lebanese" food.

We have a strong Palestinian community here along with Greeks. They all seem to be in the food business. The best Mediterranean place in Bham is in Cahaba Heights by Ms Myra’s, the Olive Branch. Whatever you do, get the falafels and mint sweet tea. It’ll change your life.

Kibbee is incredible too.

Also, OP: Martin’s has the best baked beans in town. I could eat those as a meal. I also like the pork sandwich with slaw and the habanero bbq sauce. Best pork sandwich I’ve ever had.

But I’m personally partial to Saw’s. Just an incredible product every time I go.
