At first I thought I heard the commentator say he looks like Favre and thought it has to be the beer talking, then I heard him say it again and about pissed my pants I was laughing so hard. He's serviceable, even good for a freshman, but to compare the guy to a HOF qb is an absolute insult to Favre and Davie should be slapped.

I was too. Where are the haters from early this season? With all the garuntees of failure.

I'm very impressed. I was always sick to my stomach when Flynn dropped back. I was neutral when Hatch dropped back. I was excited when RP dropped back. I was pumped beyond belief when JR would drop back, and I feel the same way with General Lee. The potential for a big play exhilarates me.

Six quarters does not a career but I have to admit that the future looks bright for Lee and the Tigers. Yeah, that pick look bad, but I remember Flynn, a seasoned veteran, throw some ducks last year that looked just as bad.
I've noticed that Lee gets in trouble when he tries to float the ball. When he gets back there and just slings it, it's on the mark most of the time.

He was not saying he was Brett Favre, he was saying his mechanics reminded him of Favre. Like how when Favre throws, he does not really step into his throws.

The kid impresses me,too, but lets not lose sight of the fact that he is a RSF and will make mistakes and will not learn from some of them the first time. His future is bright.
The Auburn has provided us with a lot of memories over the years and numerous taglines...maybe this game, this year was the General Lee Game and it could have been the start to a fantastic career!

He was talking about his release and throwing motion and giving the kid a compliment. Dont be a cock sucker.

I like his development so far. But if he continues to stare down receivers and throw off his back foot, without any pressure in his face, hes going to be apart of the gator chomp

I kid, I kid. I do like how far hes come already in 4 games but he does have a lot to work on.

Nice job last night by Lee. had some real nice throws. I'd like to see him work a couple of the other receivers into the game a little more, but I understand the rapport he has with JoJo.

Crowton needs to work with him on stepping into his throws when the pressure's coming, so he doesn't airmail his throws, but other than that, I think he's doing a pretty good job. With two weeks to work on getting ready for Florida, I think we should give the Gators a game.

I did not think he looked like a freshman last night. He looked comfortable. And another thing to think about is the fact that Auburn and Miss St defense are very good. I am very encouraged with what I saw last night.
