Has anybody played here recently? Been trying to play different courses so I’d appreciate if someone could give me some insight, thanks

It doesn't get more goat ranch than out there lol. I will say it's made some improvements sinces PARDS bought it. It's fun to work on shots (especially punches) but most of the time I don't even bother carrying a putter up to the green

Yea. It's probably the worst course I've played in my life. I'm not exaggerating. I'll play it with my daughter, but it's an absolute goat ranch.

The weirdest thing about this course is not that is does not have real golf course grass ( ie Zoysia, rye, bermuda, etc) but that if you don't hit in "fairway" you cannot find your ball. It's just freakin centipede, but I swear it eats balls.

I have a buddy that is not very good and he likes to play there. I go with him to work on irons and approach shots - - that's about all you can really do out there, but for $9 it is cheaper than a driving range

I have a soft spot for the goat farm.. My grandfather helped make this course happen back in the day.. Glad pards took it over, they at least have the funds to maintain it.. And hopefully improve it in the future..

It's honestly one of the worst courses I've ever played.

LSU has turned around a bit and is now 10 better than the Pines. If you like St. Aug on your fairways, then it is for you. Even the practice green is flattened st Aug. Crazy.
