Wasn't always that way. The Square kicked arse in the 80's. You could see some damn good bands in these clubs. Eddie Van Halen was a regular there when it town.

His wife was from there. Or rather, her family lived there. She was pretty much grown and on her own when they moved but she was visiting when she and EVH met after a concert at Hirsch.
