Like I said above, tore ACL in HS. What happens with that kind of injury is that arthritis sets in (especially with the surgical techniques of the 80s). It took 30 years for it to finally take me out. I stopped running entirely about 6 years ago. No cartilage left.

65. No major injuries, just wear and tear. Bone on bone. Had mine done in July this year. Strong advice, get the ice machine for your swelling and religiously do your therapy.
Your daily pain will be gone, swelling will gradually go away. Quality of life way up.
Dr. Easton at the surgical center did mine.
