I have a rental if you guys need a place to stay up there!
Activities depend on who is going, kids, active folks, booze hounds?
Tons of A+ breweries, great food and brunch options, lots of hiking close to town, lots of touristy we can fill you in on. I think there was a thread in this a few months back that has a bunch of things.

This Season’s restaurant is very good. A little ways from your destination but worth the drive.

Visit the Grove Park Inn for a beverage or meal on the Sunset Terrace. They encourage visitors and the lobby is awesome. Similar to something you’d see in the Rockies. They have a bar in the lobby so grab a drink and relax outside with an awesome view of downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. LINK
