Circular. I already explained. Boring. Bye.

No, you didn't.

Typical. When I ask you to provide evidence, you retreat to anecdata and then pretend you explained. This is getting boring - anecdotes is not evidence. I gave you statistical data - you do the same for me please.

Disingenuous.

Me? Another user on here said that this was his experience too in this very thread. Multiple people on Reddit.

Well, now you're reaching a level of dense that gets boring. Comparing today with 50 years ago = trend. And there is reason for trend. Colleges intentionally favor left wing thought. They did not 50 years ago.

Colleges don't intentionally favor left-wing thought. It's that the people who apply and get in are left-wing. College-educated people are a left-leaning group. The higher your test scores, the more likely you are to be left-wing.

Top colleges have been left-wing for nearly a hundred years. From Vietnam protests to sit-ins over racial inequality, top colleges were a hot bed of political activity back in the 1960s. Your trend argument falls pretty flat on its face - it's not even a clear argument that you were making (you didn't even make the link in your original comment).

Top colleges were left-wing 50 years ago. I'm not sure why you're pretending they weren't. Harvard, Berkeley, Yale, Princeton etc. have always been left-wing.

I'm getting tired of repeating myself. There is no such trend. Top colleges have been left-wing for nearly a hundred years.

Dense. It disproved you point about requirements. Now you retreat to 'requirements don't matter if you're famous.' Boring.

For most applicants, there are requirements. I even said in my original comment for the people who aren't famous, kids of famous people, athletes or legacies, there are strict requirements. For the 1000 merit-based seats, there are strict requirements. And even for the 1000 non-merit-based seats, most will have high test scores and grades.

And you pointing out one example doesn't mean anything. David Hogg was one applicant.

Why must you lie and pretend I didn't say otherwise?

So effectively, this is getting pointless. You refuse to provide statistical evidence of any of your claims - you instead retreat to anecdata and hearsay. And you even were disingenuous when you brought up someone who went to Radcliffe college.

Provide actual evidence or shut up. I'm guessing you can't so I suggest you shut up instead. It's disrespectful to keep using anecdotes and hearsay - use actual evidence like I did.

I provided you with data that showed that median test scores for all races was above 2100 on the SAT. You've not provided any evidence for your claims so I suggest you back down.

You don't seem to understand the points you're making. You've got no understanding of what you're saying - your points are disjointed and there's no clear coherence running through them.

You instead stick to repeating things that you say happened 50 years ago when we're talking about the present day. And even then, your argument doesn't make any sense - top colleges were left-wing 50 years ago. The trend has always been left-wing.
