Obviously you aren’t watching Werner. He is a tackling machine that seems to always be were he is suppose to be. If a back is hitting his gap he gets tackled. The dude was a great pick by our staff.

Well of course I'm watching Werner and agree he is a tackling machine. There's a difference between someone who can run all over the field like Werner/Kwon untouched and someone who can take on blocks from Oline or fullback and try and make a tackle, or leave it open for someone else to make a tackle. Baun and I was reminded earlier Ellis iirc are the SLBs who typically do that.
My point was in a traditional defense it may not be often Kwon and Werner are on the field at the same time as they both fit that traditional wlb role. I don't know if either, especially Werner, are one's that can constantly take on blocks, they are better playing wlb and many times being free of blockers, or at least more so than a slb.
