Well, as tax exempt organizations they are not allowed to actively campaign or participate in political activities or they would run afoul of their tax exempt status...

So, if they are doing this, they should at a minimum receive a fine from the IRS for doing so...

That assessment would cut both ways. Again. Kamala Harris is awful. Black churches do a lot to help the Democrat Party. But plenty of other churches help out social conservatives as well.

There is a moral and religious component to all social spending and policy that cannot be separated.

Churches can and should be allowed to participate in politics and not stop being churches. I don’t want any branch of government- much less the freaking IRS determining the sincerity of someone’s religious beliefs.
