I'm an old fart. In my journey through this World of Woe, I've often felt alone. But I tried to help others when I felt the most alone. Volunteering helped me to shake off the self-pity. There are always other folk carrying a heavier cross than yours.

As I face my own demise, I realize I was never really alone. There is a God and He is real.
