Just put some shiplap up and resell for 100k above purchase.

Something I have noticed. The spec home flips from reputable contractors seems to have changed a little. Have noticed contractors buying potential homes and sitting on them with a package plan to renovate, once a buyer is found.

That's all well and good if the contractor has the money to just sit on homes for however long it takes to find a buyer. The bank note and insurances are not cheap to just let a property sit around in today's market. That could eat into profit if a buyer isn't found quickly.

It could be a good deal for the buyer as they can get in there and put their stink on the floorplan to have it the way they envision their new home as long as it works within the parameters the contractor set aside for.

As long as it stays close to the buying/selling point where both parties are happy.
