No more than the League sending the Miami Dolphins to watch him workout & pretending this workout was legit . Zero chance that the Dolphins are signing Kaepernick( an avowed Castro/ Che supporter). The League recruited teams/ volunteers to show up .
Since Che was racist against blacks and had anti-gay views as well just shows CK is a clown, but are you talking about the work out offered at the Atlanta facilities where all teams were invited and then CK canceled 30 minutes before to hold his own at some high school that some team reps still showed up to watch?
I don’t remember who showed up to the high school CK set up himself. I do remember CK wanting and pushing to try out for dolphins earlier in 2019, but I can’t remember when or if it took place or if they showed up to the one later in Atlanta. Regardless CK backed out of the official one all teams were invited to at Atlanta facilities to hold one elsewhere same day.
Even in 2017 - “when NFL executive and former safety Troy Vincent had arranged a springtime, in-person meeting between Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and Kaepernick. Later that summer, Ravens coach John Harbaugh and Kaepernick spoke by telephone”
Seattle was more about not needing a starter or wanting to pay starter money, but Baltimore was at least partially due to CK’s camp/girlfriend labeling the owner as a slave owner proving he was not going to be a fit for locker room.
Even the NFLPA had its issues with CK and not being a “team” player.
“ The NFLPA and Kaepernick had traded slights dating back to when Kaepernick was a star with the 49ers and opted out of the NFLPA's player-wide licensing agreement.”
