Even if O could win 9 + imo he still had a good chance to be fired. Too much off the field bs..
I also believe If u kinda read between the lines one could make an educated guess that Scott saw right through O’s bs screen (on the field) and zeroed in on the incompetence running a big time program.. I believe that’s why O made certain comments at media days .. I also believe that’s why he hired rookies. His ego was hurt and what better way to prove to whoever he felt the need to prove he’s competent than hiring rooks who also know the system from 2019. That was his first mistake Bec the old cliche is fit the scheme to the players not visa versa ..
