Do any of y'all fellows have any positive feedback for Srixon Z585s?
I sold my Titleist 695 MBs a few years back because I haven't been able to play or work on my game as much. My current clubs are 2003 Nicklaus CGX that are outdated and my ability to play more has sparked interest in rebuilding my set. That said, with my game not as solid as it has been in years past, I'm more inclined to get away from blades altogether, but still want the feel of forged irons. I also would like to add some the distance game improvement irons provide without the bulky heads.
No dealers in my immediate are carry these, but am hoping some of y'all can co-sign on these before I dump money into an online deal I've found that I've yet to hit.
TL,DR: Do Srixon Z585 provide the best of both worlds with distance of game improvement irons coupled with the workability, compact look at address, and pure feel of forged player's irons?

I haven't hit any of the srixon irons, but I've put a few down and hey sit beautifully. Don't sleep on the 785. That looks like a middle iron between blades and cavity back.

Many discussions on this board seem to come to a mizuno/srixon as the “best”

I lurk this board from time to time and figured you'd chime in because I I've seen some posts of yours pumping the Z585s.
How is the feel on center hits and mishits? My mishits are usually toward the toe. I'm looking for a club that has that sweet, pured feel, something I haven't found in the few modern clubs I've tested.

I have the 565s. The 585s are the next gen, supposed to be an upgrade.
Center hits are butter. There’s no other way to explain it. It’s pure.
On mishits its still not bad. It’s not the same as catching a blade on a toe where it hurts you up to the shoulders. However, there’s still some feedback. The ball still flies though.
If you hit the hozel, you’ll know it. Don’t ask how I know.
I can still work my 565s, but not as drastically as I could my Apex pros which were my previous set. With the benefits of the iron, I’m not worried. I just play for a straighter ball flight.

I currently game the 585's with Modus 105 shafts. They are every bit as workable as the 785's but with more forgiveness. They are also not chunky and are pleasing to look at. You really cant go wrong. Soft as butter
