Given that Hatch should be sat for next weeks game. A concussion does not go away in a week, especially the way Hatch looked last night. My guess is that we will see possible rotation of Lee and Jefferson against MSU.

By this I don't mean like we saw this past week, but more similar to last year with Jefferson in for some option. What does everyone think about this?

I say put Jefferson in for runs only. Then when we play Florida or Georgia, have him bomb it for a TD on that QB outside run throw that RP did last year.

I can't say that I liked Lee in the first half, especially after the pick six on the screen, but he sure did impress in the second half. I agree that Jefferson may come in once in a while to run the option, but im not impressed with his arm.

I hope so. If not, JJ needs to develop some sort of injury so he can redshirt.

1) Hatch is Crowton's boy
2) Miles prefers seniority
3) Hatch ran really well, thus argument for JJ to run is greatly diminished

Bottom line. Expect Lee, with Hatch as backup, in the big games unless Lee or Hatch get injured.

Medically Hatch cant play this week. Thus it will be Lee and Jefferson. I dont expect to see much of Jefferson unless LSU gets way up on MSU. Lee needs the reps. I wouldnt mind him playing the whole game.
I do agree with a previous post that Les is loyal to a seniority system and Hatch will play more this year. Running the spread you have to have two Qbs ready to play.

I am so damn curious to see JJ in. I've heard great things about him, but obviously he hasn't been on the field too much. If he doesnt somehow get a redshirt for this season (depending on a fake injury), it would be stupid to not put him in at some time next week for some game experience, at home, against an SEC opponent. This would by-pass any future fiasco's of not having any qb's on our roster without and pt.

as of now, i think you will see lee first, hatch second with both scripted for play time regardless of the score. lee could easily mess up just as bad as hatch did and find himself in the backseat once again. i dont know if jefferson lost his red shirt on 3 plays but if he did, he will see backup action against the cupcake teams.

I don't understand why people think that Miles would be so reckless to put in Hatch next week. The dude got his bell rung pretty badly, and Miles won't risk serious injury like that for a player.

Lee will start next week and if anything Jefferson will play the Perrilloux type position from last year. If we are going to use it against UF, he'll need reps. Nobody knows if Hatch will be fully recovered by UF and Jefferson needs some reps too, just in case.
