This isn't insurance but it's very good information most people don't know about.
My girlfriend told me about Carecredit for vet bills years ago. I thought it was only for humans.
LSU takes it and so do many vets. It's saved our butts a few times with a dog that had cancer.
If you spend over certain amounts, you get interest free periods. Not sure exactly but if it's like $500 it's 90 days interest free, $1500 is 6 months and so on.
My gf has used it for countless trips to LSU vet school for our dogs over the last 10 years.
